Lets you get under the root ball you are digging and hammer through the tap root or whatever. This is the next step down from hand powered manual tree spade but a significant improvement over not being able to sink a spade in the ground.

This tree digging shovel works like an auto body dent puller tool to hammer the shovel into the ground. Great for cutting roots at the bottom of the rootball. Makes hand digging trees & Shrubs a lot easier since this smacks the spade through hard to get to roots and heavy clay in hard to reach places when digging trees by hand.
